I assisted in various design aspects and elements throughout the site. I migrated the site from Shopify to WooCommerce for better control over individual page templates in order to implement custom PHP code for marketing purposes. Another reason why I moved it to WordPress was to improve performance and the score on Google’s PageSpeed Insights tool, bringing it up from an average of 65 to 98. I created this WordPress theme from scratch, including the shopping cart so that it only loads and uses what it is necessary on each page.

My own client management application that I started building around 2012, and still to date, maintain and implement new features as needed. All the features were 100% developed by me in WordPress without the use of any third-party plugins. Some of these features include an invoicing system that allows me to create and send invoices to clients and get paid online. I integrated the Stripe’s PHP library so that I could connect to their API so that I could receive payments to my Stripe account, create clients, and subscriptions, all from within my application.

One of the major highlights of this project is the Work section. It’s an AJAX based portfolio gallery that loads only after all files are loaded. The backend is very simple allowing my client to easily create a new Work (custom post type), upload files in bulk and create a WordPress gallery out of them. Everything then happens automatically on the frontend.

A WordPress plugin I built in 2015 to enable users to choose from a list of all pages, posts or custom post types, to be selected as links on the sidebar of any page on a website. This also gives users full control on what links to be shown on the sidebar on a page-per-page basis.

Below are some of the websites I built using WordPress. For all of them I converted Photoshop (.psd) design files to responsive WordPress custom themes by hand-coding with HTML and CSS and javascript. Some of have a more robust backend that includes functionalities with custom post types, widgets, and custom plugins.
